About Us

The Rules Have Changed is here to help those who are sick of the so called "GURUs". All the gurus have the same message; create a list, market your product to them, and you will get rich! When the internet started that was probably a good idea. Things are changing so fast that is no longer a good idea for the masses. The rules Have Changed is going to give you the straight skinny on what does and doesn't work. . . . .>>>Read More >>

Reduce Fuel Efficiency and Increase Gas Mileage

Gas prices are getting way out of hand.  It appears the cost to purchase a gallon of gas is going to reach $5 or $6 before long. I don’t know about your income but mine just isn’t going up fast enought to keep pace with this kind of increase.  Lucky for me, and you, I found a great resource for reducing those increasing fuel costs. The really cool thing is you can increase your fuel efficiency and your gas mileage.

I don’t want to scare you too much about this because it is not my style to cause you to fear.  But, you gotta have some serious consideration about what you’re going to do long term.  There are a lot of choices including electric cars, pedalmobiles, bicycling, alternative fuels (typically require some engine alterations), and mass transit just to name a few. Of course, you could start walking if you don’t have that far to go.  Keeping and feeding a horse is not a choice for most people.

Since most of us drive our own vehicles it would seem the best way to fight this massive intrusion into our disposable income by improving the gas mileage of our current cars and trucks.  I found a great website to help you do that and it has tons of free information.  Check it out by clicking fuel efficiency information.

Auto Repair May Be Cheap with Check Engine Light

Has anybody reading this ever had car problems and didn’t know who to turn to or trust?  That exact scene happened to me recently.  I was sitting at a red light in my Ford F-150 when the red check engine light  came on.  As I took off from the light it went out.  I was relieved thinking it was just a sensor malfunctioning.  At the next stop, boom, the light comes on again and as I took off it went off again.  This continued all day until I was beginning to get a little rattled because I depend on the truck to do my work.

I asked a couple of people along my route if they had a good recommendation for an honest auto repair shop.   Everyone told me who to stay away from but nobody could come up with someone they really trusted.  Now I am in a quandry because I need to fix my truck and I haven’t a clue who to go to. Where do I go to find the best auto shop?

As soon as I got home I got on the internet and right off I found a place that looked like they could help.  First, they had auto repair shops in many cities around the country so I figured they must be doing good work.  Second, they had a page specifically for my 1999 Ford F-150 pick up so that was impressive.  Finally, they had an auto shop in the city where I was (Note: I searched for San Diego Auto Repair) and that was it!  I am sold on this company and this website.  I don’t care where you are, you can trust these guys. They could have taken me to the cleaners but instead, diagnosed the problem which was a loose wire and it only cost me a service call.  Wow!  That is what I call Auto Service with a smile.  And I am the one smiling the most.  You will be smiling too!
